Empty gas tank or leave full?

For the last 10 years have stored what ever boat I had with full tank of gas. The 10 year before, I didn't, I did have more problems with fuel then. Right now I also like to have the 100 gallons of fuel on hand if some major disastor hit's and you can't get the gas. This chould be from a local storm that nocks out power for weeks to the end of the World in 2012. LOL

Great point about having a reserve store of fuel! Simple but practical for trailered boats anyway. Almost a dohhhh moment like when we had an ice storm and all power was out for 5 days. I was sitting there thinking "How are we going to cook meals?" while I was almost leaning on the propane BBQ sitting out on the deck. Sometimes the gray matter needs just a little jog.
