what is the proper use of the Emergency Start Switch, this was never discussed when they delivered my boat???

Tun both ignition switches on, then depress the emergency start switch and hold it, immediately crank one engine, then the other if both sides are low. You can use the emergency start feature with one engine running if you have low batteries on one bank only. The emergency start switch triggers a solenoid that ties both port and stbd battery banks together so you get all the amps available on the boat to crank up if your battery(s) are low on one side.

One trick a lot of owners use is to turn the battery switch on one side off so if you are anchored all day and let the time and battery condition get away from you, you can always turn on the side that was off and crank up.

Enjoy your new boat.............
