Eleuthera, Bahamas experience?

The admiral asked me to get feedback for a friend of hers who's considering surprising her husband with a trip to the Eleuthera Islands. We've never been to this island and admittedly I had never heard of it. Either by boat or plane, anyone been there that can give personal experiences on whether or not it's a good place to vacation? Thanks in advance.

About 10 years ago I flew my Bonanza down to Eleuthera Island. Stayed here are "The Cove". Small resort but had a great time! http://www.thecoveeleuthera.com/?gclid=CN2q6tLnm8ACFQusaQodH0YA5Q

We also took the ferry out to Harbor Island. It was a fun [lace also. Pink sand beaches. Quaint town. Small enough to walk around. The stars head here sometimes... we were told Julia Roberts was there at the same time.
