Look in the archives at the Sea Ray website. They might not have them for your exact year, but possibly for your exact model in a different year, and the wiring will essentially be the same.
In the meantime, you may want to just get behind there and make sure they ground and all connections are tight and clean. That alone usually solves a lot of the type problems you have.

If you contact Sea Ray with your HIN, they might email you the electrical drawings for your boat...assuming there records go back to '74. They had mine from '95

Sounds like a bad ground, and/or some corroded wiring or connections. Had the same issue, up under my switch panel. I have the panel with the fuses right next to the toggle switches. After cleaning off the 10 tons of corrosion and putting everything back together, my problems were solved. I also pulled all the fuses out, and cleaned the dried up gunky grease they had installed 30+ years ago. I put a tiny bit of dielectric grease on all the terminals. Used a Q Tip for that, and things went together beautifully. Good luck!

99% probable it's a bad ground or corroded connector problem.

Like Rick said - try cleaning first. Radio Shack has a liquid 'contact cleaner' that works pretty well - comes in a spray can. Spray some onto a Q-tip and rub it on the contact point before reconnecting, should stay clean for a very long time. Electrolysis effects far more than just the out drive and props.

Maybe I'm wrong, but aren't most all boats' electrical systems pretty much run off the wiring harness that connects up to the engine? Aren't all the gauges/lights wired pretty much the same? I mean, I wouldn't expect a 420 to wired the same as my 245, but the concept is the same...
