Hi all,

I hope you can see the attached video.

Engines run great and no overheating issue at the moment but starboard riser shows 30 degrees more at the tip near the hose than the port side.
The top is still cool to the touch but not near the hose.
I know I am due for a whole new set of exhaust system soon, I am hopping next year.
Do you think I can finish the season with them?
They are 5 years old in brackish water flushed with salt away after every outing.

thanks for you help.

I would probably keep an eye on things and watch your engine temps. You may be able to get by for the balance of the season. I'd also verify your exhaust temps are similar closer to the block. If you have a cylinder that's not firing due to a bad plug or wire, that will contribute to less heat within that manifold.

Thank you for your reply. I love this forum so much better than the social media counterparts. I might have been too impatient for a response.
I know it’s hard to say when an exhaust system will fail but I wanted to know if anyone had the same symptoms without any major overheating issues.
Everything is cool to the touch except when you get near the hose.
All 4 manifold shows same temps.
I am most likely developing a small blockage at the riser or elbow.
I am still running at 158 degree under load though.
I hope I can finish the season peacefully.

Thanks.
