Assembling a christmas list for the Admiral.

I've been drooling over Edson wheels for a long time.

I've a 2007 260 'dancer. I'm pretty sure it's a 3/4" taper to attach the new wheel to. Does anyone know for sure and has anyone replaced the OEM with an Edson wheel?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a reason why you want a power knob?
I'm just curious.
I would think that it would get in the way sitting and steering at the helm.
Do you place your tilt wheel in the "bus driver" position?

"bus driver" position made me LOL and spit coke! Very nice!

couple reasons I like the knob:

it's as good as a turk's head for determing position of your rudder inre top dead center for the wheel if you are too busy maneuvering to look;

For me it makes slip maneuvering easier with one hand on the throttle and the other on the knob able to spin quickly without having to break my wirst or re-grip the wheel.

There's plenty room on my bus to have a knob....

Sorry, :grin: I was serious though. Only in that position would I think it would not hit your legs????
