Has anybody had any dealing with Eastern Seaboard Marine out of Clifton, Maine? I am looking to by a used motor for my boat from them. My old motor started to run hot and after pulling the motor found that I had a crack between cylinders and a lot of rust in the water jackets. One was almost completely closed. Anyway found a replacement motor out of Maine with a good price.

Here is an update on Eastern Seaboard Marine. I did a wire transfer for the amount and received the motor the following week. (I was really nervous about that. I do a lot of ammo reloading and that is one way to scam someone) Chris brought the motor down from Maine just before this east coast winter weather. I have the motor sitting in my workshop waiting on warmer weather. I pulled the plugs and changed them along with cap and rotor. The plugs looked good, no sign of anything bad. The cap had just a touch of wear. The impeller showed no signs of wear but it was changed any way. All hoses got changed but showed no signs of wear or blockage. The heat exchanger had just a touch of calcium but an overnight soak in Barnacle Buster and looks like new. I will change the oil and add coolant once in the boat. It is so much easier doing all the work in the shop as opposed to the bilge. Once the old motor is pulled, it is bilge cleaning time.
