Early 90's 26' Sundancer

How long should the shaft be of the rear running light? It is a plug in shaft on the starboard side?????

It should be long enough so that it is taller than your camper/bimini top and be seen all around. I have a 95 230 Sundancer and mine is about 4 to 4.5 feet.

High enough to meet the 2 nautical mile regulation from all sides if it is the only stern light.
