we have a 2003 240 sundancer. Our horn went and I’m trying to find its replacement. It’s mounted on the front of the boat and there are 2 holes drilled out for the speakers to slide in. The only luck I had was for the “speaker- ferroelectric loud speaker “ from the us patent # 4979291. The speakers seem to be attached to the grille. Any suggestions on a replacement. Do you think I’ll need to change the size of the hole? Many thanks!!!

Shaps - I really don’t know. They came out of the boat together. I’m assuming I just glue them together? I don’t have a picture of the boat holes for it.

Ahhhhh. That part with the Amazon link is way too big. They seem to be the same piece- like original. E30082A1-B4E5-4997-A55B-9B4ED8194D11.jpeg7C4B7FF4-7B82-4014-AED8-2A13A26D545F.jpeg1E695CA6-2EC7-4F0F-8308-44A913BE4910.jpeg

This is template I made of the old unit. Both shaded areas are cut out of the boat. I can always purchase a new metal
Plate- link you provided. CN I simply mount the new horn inside the hull, next to the open metal face plate? We are BTW on a lake, not ocean.

Recommend you put that cover back on and forget about replacing with the same unit. Then buy yourself an electric dual trumpet horn. Run the wiring, and a push button switch and drill holes to mount somewhere convenient. They sell them pretty inexpensively and sound and look great.
