My DTS has suddenly lost it's sync.

Yellow light burns at slow spead but when running up rpms and at cruising spead <3400>
it turns back to red. Happens in "single Lever" mode or with both levers...

Any suggestions...????

Interesting... no sync at all? Mine is a bit touchy sometimes but will generally sync eventually. I wonder if its some sort of "slow leak" kinda thing were mine will eventually go out?

Sync only works when your above 1500 rpms. That's what the manual says

That is very interesting. Mine normally works from 650 on up, but the past month I've noticed my starboard engine is about 100 RPMs higher than my port until I accelerate. Once cruising they're fine.

I did have an issue two seasons ago when I was on long cruises I'd see a surge in one engine and they would go out of sync by about 100-150 RPMs. Usually I'd go back to neutral and that fixed the problem. This problem eventually disappeared.

Had her out couple weeks ago and all was fine. Last weekend went out and noticed she wasn't syncing and although RPM's pretty close seemed like one of the engines was dragging. Nice thing to happen when you're showing to a potential buyer

Aw man that sucks (the buyer thing). Have you tried just powering the whole system down for a minute? That is the go to fix for most things software based.... worth a shot.
