I'm another SeaRay newbie and couldn't be happier unless you can figure out how to speed up the winter months and get us back on the water. Wife and I bought our first boat together...a '89 230CC with the 5.7L mercruiser and a Alpha One gen one leg. Spent most of the '09 summer weekends on it. Just came across this site and wanted to say hi to all. Looks like a great forum for all us SeaRay boaters. (and yeh...I know captain is spelled wrong....long story behind that one!

Very nice boat. Our 89 230cc was our very first boat too. Ours was identicle to yours with matching trailer too. Our was green though. Welcome to boating. ...Ron

Good looking SEA RAY Capt Willy! Congrats. Wife and I bought our first boat together and 41 years and a couple of kids later we're still boating. Great way to raise a family!

Great boat! My first SR was a new 1988 Sorrento 24 which basically is your boat in a different trim. I had the most fun in that boat. It was the perfect size for trailoring, it rode great in the water, and I felt that I had finally made it because I had A Sea Ray. Starcraft and Renken before that. Enjoy!
