Drive Lube

Hi all, my low drive lube indicator just went off as I was out. His came back and checked and the reservoir is low. Can anyone recommend the proper lube oil? I have a 2010 280 sundancer with a 350 mag mpi. Thanks for your input

Will do thanks. If that indicator didn’t flash I wouldn’t have known. Just fill to the top of the resovoir?

There's a max line just under the top of the reservoir.

Did you have any servicing done lately?

I usually have to top off my bottle a few weeks after I get my outdrives serviced. In my 1998 290 it just sets off a little alarm and then you have to hunt it down.

Yup. Saw that when I checked. No servicing done other than the spring tune up. I’m at a new marina this year. Who knows if the previous mechanic from last years marina drained and replaced the drive lube when it was winterized last year.
