drain plug led

I don't mean to be harsh here but don't even bother installing one. They put out a comically low amount of light and are a complete waste of money

Thats really not what he asked guys.....I get your trying to keep him from making a mistake, but it seems as though he already did his research/decided - so onto the question...I can assure you the garboard plug (drain plug) opens to the bilge...the transom is quite thick so your not looking for a fitting, but rather a 3/4" or so hole at the low point of the bilge between the stringers - just take the plug out (should be already if your storing on the hard) and stick a bright colored wire or somthing similar through......you'll find it....

thank you. since my original post the owner called me from Diablo suggesting I look at their new light; http://m.ebay.com/itm/261739100421
I definately don't want to waste money just assuming this guy's passion for his product is all that he claims? claiming 80 watts & 4,000 lumens using 4 luxeon LEDs

I have 4 good UW lights on my boat and added a drain plug style (someone gave me one) and it doesn't do squat. The ebay one above may be better but don't waste your time on a cheap one.
