Aside from Nicolet Bay and Chambers Island, Can any one recomend some sand beaches in the Door County Area? I heard of some nice area left of Sturgeon Bay?

Cave Point and Whitefish Dunes State Park were always my favorite Door County destinations as a youth without a boat. Would love to see them from a boat today. I think I'll pass on laterally scaling the entire length of the cliffs at Cave Point the way we used to though.

Of intrest on the bay side I saw Halnes Park just left of Sturgeon Bay, Frank Murphy Park below Egg Harbor and Ellison Bay Town Park. Have you any knowledge of these and are they safe to get close w/ boats? I'm really looking for a new place to raft off. We like Niclet bay and little sister bay. Just want to try some thing new.

I always liked the Peninsula State Park anchorage near Horseshoe Island and Ephraim. Fish Creek just south of there is a great little town to walk, and the beach at that anchorage is very nice. You can explore Horseshoe Island or Chambers Island too.

Nice forum, seems like a nice group of drinkers with a boating problem...
We have spent a good deal of time in Fish Creek, DC and heard words of orther beaches. This year we are about 5 boats strong headed up from Milwaukee and looking for some different day trips. Have you been in Little Sister Bay at Fred & Fuzzy's? It is a must stop. They have the maket conered on Jummy Buffet Music while in thier comfortable resin chairs and tables beach side. The wife loves the Pina Coladas there. One of the best spots for sunset in DC. Come on summer.....
