Well, was at the boat tonight trying to sort out my "no signal" issue and I discovered I don't have 12v power at the galley station any more either. All 12v lights worked throughout, all other systems I believe were lit off too.

Starting to think the lack of 12v power has killed the signal.... the antenna has a red "power" light on the base of it (not lit), so I assume it is a powered unit, even tho I can only see a coaxial cable running into its base. Does the "power up" box live somewhere else?

Do I have a 12v fuse bank somewhere? I've never seen one....

First time in a while I've been stumped about on board systems.... goes to show you should never think you've discovered it all :D

Sea Ray has kindly supplied me with schematics, however I don't really understand them. Any help greatly appreciated - had planned to watch some AFL footy down there this Friday night drinking some mighty fine port. GO THE BOMBERS!

Bump

I did find and probe what I assume is the 12v backbone that splices off to the couple if 12v sockets in the galley and got a reading <1v, could this be indicating a short?

I have a 12v fuse panel under the dash on the 330.

The original TV aerial set up on mine had a potentiometer set up mounted in the cupboard under the 240V panel.

The 12v wasn't connected. The PO had fitted a GME aerial, but not powered it. Basically I rewired it

Cheers, Ian. I'll head under there next

Well I'm heading down there blind tomorrow night so if I can't fix it, I'm going to have to head to the pub to watch the game - so this basically a bump :D Think I'll take some "rabbit ears" tv antenna sets and a long coax cable with me, just in case

Any one else with a similar vintage had some 12v system fuses blow? if so, where did you replace them and are they just standard car fuses?

Are there fuses behind the DC selector panel? The one with all the systems listed?

Right.

Found fuse panel and I had come across it before, I'd just forgotten that area had fuses. For future reference, there is a panel by your right knee when sitting at the helm, it can be easily removed and has a half doz fuses in there. Including my blown one.

Naturally I did not have a spare, I did how ever had a spare antenna :D

Game watched, my bombers got up after trailing badly in the 3rd term. GO YOU MIGHTY BOMBERS!
