Just curious if anybody uses a sounder or have the door contacted for monitoring?

Either that or I was thinking of grabbing a few security stickers from work to just put on the boat to make them think twice.

security camera and stickers...

I do but I can't tell you what I have. :smt001
That would make it useless letting everyone know what I have !!. :smt021

Wireless and cellular (GSM) based. Not exactly cheap, but it's an easy to use system that you can monitor/disable/enable via Blackberry or iPhone.

Motions, door sensors and a head unit come with the basic system.

We use one of their systems at a property we own that has no phone service.

(must have constant power, so YMMV)

The problem with security systems that are at a remote location is that unless you have someone you can call that can be there in 3 minutes or less, you'll either anoy nearby liveaboards with your alarm or just have a picture of some sorry SOB stealing your fishing rods.
