I had dock mates looking at me with shock when I pulled out my rotary and started to polish and wax my dock box. Seemed completely reasonable to me. Heck, I paid $500 for it and I want to keep it looking nice. I was half tempted to do theirs for them. This might be over the top but I almost bought a big grill type cover for it to use over the winter.:smt100 That reminds me . . . I need to go clean my grill . ..

EDIT- Just to clarify . . . I'm not talking about your admiral!! Just sayin . . .

Are you in Kent's Harbor? If so...mine's on E-Dock if you can find some time to get over and polish it LOL!

Yes i do ,and the marina actually put a paragraph in this springs news letter to try and get the others that dont to clean them up and re level the ones that have moved due to freeze.

I'm lucky to wax my boat. I could not find one more minute to do anything else with all the must do's on a boat but if you have the time and energy go for it!

Why not...wax it! It is just like protecting any other asset in my opinion.

Yep, A-Dock! But sorry, I'm done polishing for the year. Time to hopefully enjoy the water. Unfortunately, the lake is the worst I've ever seen it.

I don't have a dock box for this summer. :smt021. So I can't buff it or shave it . :smt089
