Guns? Tried to buy Ammo lately? People are stocking up. I went to the local Bass Pro shop today and the guys was stocking the shelf with with Ammo. I bought a few boxes of 9mm and 380 ACP. He said the shelf would be empty by days end. Not sure about other areas, but people are stock piling in a big way here.

Nobody said anything about a "Homebody wanting or needing anything" you are right you don't deserve anything you don't work for yourself. The problem IMHO is that too many people "Homeboy", WASP, Honkys, etc, etc feel that the government owes them something. Yes there are some crazy hate groups, but please don't group all of us with them, in doing so you are just as wrong as the hate groups.

Whew! talk about slippery slope!
I have to say that I enjoy all opinions expressed on this site. What a GREAT country and place to be able to express so many opinions freely. I do not know personally a single person on this site and yet I can just tell it represents such a diverse group. I doubt there is a single person on here who has not worked there tail off for every thing they have and is still working to keep it!

Sounds good, but no mater how bad it is in the US I still would not want to live (Maybe visit) anywhere else.

I been thinking about Ecuador. Get a place down there and spend 4-5 winter months on the equator. I could handle that, no snow and 30 below stuff to put up with. That would mean I'd have to have 2 boats, oh-oh, Ma's not going to be happy.

Chuck thats why I said "some" unfortunately there are always some. And it usually amounts to someone not thinking before they speak. I've dealt with that kind of ignorance most of my life, and I even put my life on the line to defend the rights of those who actually feel that way because I believe in what this country stands for.

What I cant get is, like you said, there are all different flavors of deadbeat, why separate and label them like one flavor is better than another? Another thing I have learned is that you have no idea what path someone has walked to get to where they are. And I still have the taste of shoe leather in my mouth from that lesson.

My fear is what it seems to be moving toward and standing for when my kids grow up. Ambition and Self reliance are adjectives on their way out if we gut all the incentives for striking out on your own and starting a biz to make a better widget here and not in another country.

Having a different opinion does not make you a Neo Con no matter how different you think your "path" is or how fresh the taste of "leather" is. Ultimately I want better for my family and country across the board. The only "path" that matters is the one out of this hole.:thumbsup:
