Does somebody knows how to dismount the front panel with the mirror in it?

Here is the panel I mean..

On my 250, it was hinged on the top (I think) and had clips on the other long edge. It was firm but when pulled, it would swing open. You could access the anchor locker through there. On my 340, I don't think I have that access. I doubt the 360 does either, but you never know. Have you checked the parts list?

I searched these manuals and have come up empty. Try accessing the back of the panel from the anchor locker.

Peter,

It doesn't look like the panel is hinged so you are probably dealing with what the mechanics here call Christmas tree fasteners. They are little nylon fasteners with rings of plastic on them that press into holes on the bulkhead. The other end is screwed into the bolster itself. To remove, grasp the bolster near one bottom corner and pull on it enough to see behind the panel........its is plywood covered with fabric or vinyl. If you can see the white nylon fastener, reach in next to it with a long screw wdriver and gently pry it out of its hole in the bulkhead (not the bolster). be gentle.......these things are reuseable if you don't destroy them in removing the panel. Please don't because I haven't found a place to buy them yet.

Hope that helps.........

Re: Dismount panel in front.

Thanks for the help guy's,

I want to make a anchor wash, in the anchor locker.

Yes I looked through the manuals also but couldn't find what I need....

But I am on the boat now, and Frank right!
They are not really Christmas tree fasteners, but it's the same system.

Here are some photo's

So now the mirror, don't see how to remove this one...
Ideas for that?

Peter

Let me ask you, Peter, is there deck access above the anchor locker?

It is going to be a mess climbing down and over the bunk to access the wash down. Most peple do it from topside. You can cut an access hole in the deck and mount a white deck plate there so you can raise the anchor and wash dwn the rode and anchor from on the deck. I would rather deal with the agony of plumbing a valve and hose fitting thru a 6" hole one time than I had to risk the mirror everytime I wanted to wash down the anchor.

Yes Frank of course, I can reach my anchor locker from the deck.
I think you understand me wrong about my plan.
I don't want to wash my anchor from the inside and remove the panels.
No, I want to make a connection from my fresh water system under my bed.
The newer type 360DA has this system.
I want to make a system like the one that is on this photo from a other brand boat.
And I got a full chain.

Leaves the question, how I can remove the mirror...
Or maybe I can drill a hole through the wall behind the panel I removed now.

Peter

So the hole you want to make is only so you can get to the area to do the plumbing?

If that is the case, I would cut whatever access you need in the fiberglass wall behind the mirror, but keep the hole between the wooden strips so the plastic fasteners will still align when you put it back together. Cut the hole precisely and save the piece you remove so you can glass it back in place when you finish your project. That wall is not structural.....only a moisture barrier between the anchor locker and the cabin so all you nde to do is grind the saw cut and apply some fiberglass cloth and resin so seal it. Be sure to seal the plywood edge you expose before glassing the hole shut.

I hope I am following you..........

Yes that's correct.
Don't know if I am high enough only with removing this panel.
Thanks for the extra info, that's what I wanted to know also.
I think I only need to drill a hole for a water line.
I am sorry that you sometimes don't understand me correct, I have some difficulties writing what I mean in a other language...

I can explain it perfect in Dutch do

Thanks for your patience.

Peter.

Peter,

I don't worry about the language difference.......knowing it is you on the other end makes me write more precisely and , I hope, clearly. If I miss something, as I did in this case, try to be patient........because I sure cannot answer you in Dutch!

Ok thanks again Frank.

here is a picture from the newer 360DA manual.

it's actually a simple system to make.
But I need to remove those panels, to drill a hole that's high enough in the locker compartment..

And line with nr 33, just goes to the fresh water tank system under the bed where I make a T connection just after the pump..

Peter.
