Disapointment at the Atlanta boat show.

The Atlanta boat show opened tonight. After spending all day talking shop. I decided to peruse the offerings from SeaRay and Marine Max.
They have a 44DA, a 340DA, a 310DA and down. Plus many other runabouts and 2 Meridian cruisers.
I was disappointed at the 34DA and under crowd. They felt smaller then my old style 34. The 44 was nice, but WAY out of my dream land range, $$$.
I hate to say it but, the old girl is going to hang around a while longer.

The 44 was better I think he said somewhere around 490K sounds better than 1/2 a mil :lol: Plus you get 2 heads :smt043 Not sure what the attendance was like on Wed, but it was died today "Thursday".

It was nice to meet you at the show yesterday. We had a great time! I really liked the 310 and the 320! The 310 has some neat features including the grill and the back seat!!!

We will have to get together on the lake sometime. We are heading out today for a pig party near Lanier Harbor! Have a great day!

I went to the Atlanta boat show Saturday. Got my Sea Ray Owners free hat for 2007.
Looked at the Chriscraft 40 FT for $600k ( you got to have a dream)
Bought a Lorrance 5200C GPS that has a Video input for the first time.
Sounded cool and for $499 plus $99 for SD charts It was the way to go vs. the 40 Footer. Momma would have never let me go to a show alone again. I also found a Marine Satellite antenna.
Saw a very interesting Wake board tower by skylon sport.

Thanks for asking. We did what we expected. Gave out over 100 cards and got laryngitis. My goal is more of awareness of the diesel alternative than to sell units at the show.
Saturday it was nonstop untill about 6:30 Friday was slower.

Let's do it! The lake was beautiful yesterday with lots of traffic (for winter)! We will remain in our 280 for this season! Let us know when you are out at floating!!!
