I absolutely love being on the water at sunset. Went to dinner last night at Port City Club. Water was like glass. Love it!

I miss MidTown Sundries in that spot but Port City is a big step up from Latitude 36.

I agree Jim. I hope the business model holds up. The restaurant is so large that I expect they have a difficult time meeting the fixed expenses.

Evening and night time is one of our favorite times to be on the water. I've noticed around here about 50% of the boats get of the water at 6:00. Another 50% of those remaining on the water are off by 7:00 and almost all are gone by 8:00. That's when we get to enjoy the solitude of the water without being blasted by GFBL pipes and wakeboard boats with monster stereos.

our favorite time is when we are going to camp overnight and have dropped anchor late in the evening in a cove somewhere, have the stereo playing, the steaks on the grill, and enjoying the peace and quiet, smooth water and the sunset......VERY relaxing........

We enjoy the evenings, but nothing to me is better than waking up and seeing the sunrise on an undisturbed lake.
But, I'm a morning person anyway, and ANY time on the water is better than not

+! I try to do this a lot! Going again in two weeks

Thanks Jim. Real happy to hear about this. I miss the old Mid Town, it was a great place to go to on the south end of the lake. Now we have a destination to run to from the North end. Cool.

The Rusty Rudder is great, but you always have to fight for a slip to go there!
