Dinner and a "cruise"

Had a great dinner with my parents tonight at a great little waterfront place as we enjoy the last couple weeks before my parents head back north. To our surprise, the same Carnival ship that we were on 2 years ago with my parents was leaving port! It was very cool to see and makes me ready for another cruise.





Also saw a Disney cruise leaving




It's been great having my parents here. As some of you know, moms got Alzheimer's and each time we see her we're not sure how much she'll know or if she'll know us. This couple months they've been staying with us has been great.

Carnival gets a bad rap but we really enjoy them, enough so that we haven't been tempted yet to try another line.

Agreed. We are always treated like Kings and the boats are clean and the entertainment and food is great.

We cruised in December and my son and I did a "behind the scenes" tour. We met the Captain on the bridge and he was a riot! A little Italian guy. He asked us all...."did you see the ugly Norwegian boat dock beside us in Nassau?" He was talking about the Norwegian cruise ship "Epic"....... I guess he didn't care for the looks of it.
