Dingy Davits for 390/40 Motoryacht

All,

Has anyone used a davit system they can recommend for a 40 Motoryacht? The dingy that came with the boat is 8" 6" long with a 3.5 hp motor. My concern is that in the up position, I will not be able to enter the boat through the aft stairway and on trips, it will be impossible to enter from either side without a ladder.

Your SeaRay's beam is wide enough to put the 8'6" dinghy on the port side. The dinghy's motor would be closer to the port. Jim Trethewey-Trick Davit Systems
