Dinghy Ramp / Naultey issues?

Having an issue w/ Naultey the folks who make the Dinghy Ramp. Placed an order well over a month ago and they have yet to confirm. The credit card was billed the day we ordered it. Any one else have issues good or bad with them? Know a way to contact them other than their sales e-mail or the cell number posted on their site?

Oh dear, not too sure I like the sound of that. We bought one about 3+ years ago and had no issues with them, it's an excellent product. The phone number I have on file for them is : 586-242-0919. I did call it (as I write this) and they did answer the phone......As a general rule in our biz we don't charge credit cards until the ship day either. Hope that helps. Good luck.

We are 4 & 1/2 weeks out with them now and they said, the unit will ship out next week. Even in a part time business it is very easy to send confirmations to let people know status. Disappointed that this is not their process.

When I was looking into a Naultey dingy davit I was told it would be a 4-6 week turn around which is why I didn't go with them and got my Hurley davit (love it). I guess it is a part time business and probably they make them after they get enough to run a production?
 
While Naultey is a great design. I too put quite a bit of my repeat business into establishments that excel in customer service. I reward those who earns my business. Being in business it is paramount that my customers are communicated to and taken care of. I'm just learning now that Naultey is falling far short on the customer service side. Weather it is part time or they are busy it is no excuse.
 
THey shouldnt charge you until shipped. Try Hurley davits. Great customer service and the product works as advertised. I have the H2O system

I did try to answer your PM but your mail box is full. So sorry the pulley system is used in conjunction with the davits, so they are not for sale . The pulley system just helps to get the dinghy on to them so much easier. Good luck with your own davits and have a good and safe trip.

Thanks, I think it will be a fabulous trip. We're going to the North Channel (Ontario, Canada) for three weeks. I'll feel relieved once we have the davit situation figured out.
 
Well we received the Davit but, like a mentioned previously. 1. don't like the fact they do not confirm order. 2. they claimed it would be up to four weeks and this ended up being seven. 3. and least liked about the whole experience. Billing when order received not upon ship date.
Making a power winch bracket will post once complete.

nor will they return any emails. My boat came with the mounting hardware but is missing the rest. i was hoping they could sell me just that portion.

i guess i'm just stuck patching the holes and going with a differrent vendor. pretty sad when you want to give someone money but they dont have the time to take it.

I had the same exact issues, in fact the guy (kid) who answered the phone actually laughed at me when I asked when I would get it, 4-6weeks delivery and they never delivered. Then they laughed again when I asked when they would be available and he said there done with this season. Are you kidding me! - I went to real davits, St. Croix. I could not be happier with them. So very easy.
 
Just ordered a set of davits from Hurley, order placed on Sunday afternoon, shipped on Monday delivered on Thursday!
