Still new to boating, the analog tach's & temp gauges are becoming unreliable. I opened up the cluster on the bridge & found that they were assembled by M&G Electronics. Could not find who made them, only CE 86497 stamped on the side, black face with light blue housing? Question, not sure whether to send them out to be calibrated or just switch them all out to digital type? If I switch to digital, where do I find them?Has anyone made the change & how complicated was it? :smt100 Thanks

Tony

Digital gauges may not provide any better-info. Have you had the sending units tested. What was learned from flight testing years ago was the analog gauges allow one to process info quicker. I know folks whose gauges are AFU at rest. Underway, all needles are at 12 o'clock. If they are not, the Cap't eyes are immediately diverted to the out of place gauge/problem.

my 2 centavos!
