We are thinking of buying a '88 SEA RAY 23 SORRENTO Bowrider. The Hull looks quite fast. Engine is standard MERCRUISER 260 with a ALPHA ONE Drive. How fast can this one go? For now we have a 22 Foot Reinell Cuddy with 220 HP V8. Comes to +/- 40 mph.

Thanks

Danke

thanks for the good explanation. Then I'm going to take a close look at the Sorrento.

I had the 87 Sea Ray Sorento Cuddy Cabin had it for almost 20 years it was a great boat , best I could get was 49 mph out of it , I could never break the 50 mph version though ..... As for the 22 Pachanga .... Most can hit 60mph out of the crate , in fact there's s couple here in Michigan that can run 75 , without any mods but that's with the 454 Chevy in them . I once road in one that hit 84mph damn scared too. That BR is a great boat you'll love the handling too

We owned a 94 SR 200 and it never went more then 46 but was an outstanding boat in rough water.
I own a 32 Pachanga now and it is no where near the same. The Pachangacearly out turnsa standard searay. We also have a 230 weekender 1981
