I was told to block the low water pick up when flushing my engine, has anyone been told that? I've always used the standard flushing apparatus on any drive, but they said X Drive is different?

Because it will suck air thru the front water intakes. They sell a nose cone type attachment to seal it off when flushing. I personally use duct tape. Just do not forget to remove the tape when you are finished.
