So since we're discussing EV tow vehicles, when municipalites and DOT's start buying EV Snow Plows, I'm in.

First of all, keep up. I do not, repeat, do NOT live in the "People's Republic of Maryland" and I never will. Now that we have that bit of housekeeping taken care of.....we get snow..every once in a while... sometimes it's deep. So go phuque yourself. :D

Back to the original posting, if you really want to see the true cost of gasoline then subtract $1.00 from your areas Diesel cost. Here, Diesel is at $5.35 per gal while gas is at $3.50. This in my mind tells me the truth. The current administration is buying your vote by keeping gasoline prices down during this upcoming election.

Diesel is one step up from bunker oil and is one of the last products distilled from a barrel of oil. So if they are making gasoline and there is no shortage of it, how do we suddenly have a shortage in Diesel?
Diesel and bunker move every product we use. Everyone will pay the price as this latest “shortage” continues

Damn. My 2016 F250 Diesel gets about 14mpg avg combined city and hwy when not towing. And, yes I am heavy on the throttle and heavy on the brakes.

Same here.

Ford is the better truck in most other aspects, but truly SUCKS in the MPG dept.

Notice diesel is cheaper to refine yet taxed by the Fed at higher rate. Probably because the largest consumption of diesel comes from commercial entities vs consumer.

It’s all a scam maaan.

Canada has the 3rd largest petroleum reserves in the world but our “leader” has decided not to develop the resource. So we import our crude.
The Maritime provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island) are feeling it, not withstanding the taxes imposed on fuel….Hst and Carbon tax, all of which go up with the increase/litre. Remember, there are 3.78 litres/us gal.

“In New Brunswick, the price of diesel went up 68.6 cents, bringing the maximum price to 307.3 cents per litre.

This significant jump comes just two days after diesel prices were already increased by 17.8 cents per litre in the province.”
