have a 390 motor yacht with 480 cummins diesels, filled with fuel yesterday. after short drive it appears all the fuel is being drawn from the starboard tank as shown by the mercury smart craft gauge. is this possible or are the gauge(s) in error? i thought both engines had dedicated fuel lines and could not crossover. bob!

Sea Ray usually provides a fuel manifold, standard on some models, options on others. Follow your fuel lines and look for 3 dual stage bronze valves mounted on a board.....probably hidden, mine is behind the boarding steps. If you have a manifold, the valves may be set to feed on one tank only.......and that is usually a danger sign that there is a fuel problem with the tanks that is off line.
