I have recently seen an ad for a company called "Diesel Tex" -- they claim that diesel fuel has a tendancy to have a natural process called "repolymerization" meaning the solids in the fuel bond together.

They have a product that can be added to the fuel delivery system, that claims through "magnetic cyclonification" to enhance compustion, resulting in less smoke, less soot, and better fuel economy.

Does anyone have any experience with this product?

I can't comment on the technical aspects of the product but I will throw a brick in the ring. "If it's too good to be true, it usually is". :smt043

Better ask Frank. :smt024

Bill,
Two years ago, I repowered my 370DA with Yanmar 6lp's using Racor 900 filters and Diesel Tex magnets. I think they are the same technology as Algae-X. All I can tell you is that I just changed the Racors for the first time at 450hrs and the vacumn gauges were still not registering and there are no signs of algae. Does Diesel Tex get the credit? Damned if I know but I just wanted to do everything possible to dodge a fuel problem. Actually what convinced me were mechanics that had nothing to gain by their endorsement
