Detached strut from tab

I had the boat pulled and cleaned today, very dirty! They also found that the port trim tab had separated from the strut. I am going to have repaired next week. My question is, how safe is it to travel with only one tab operational? We have not been to the boat in weeks & the galley wench is going to pres to go out on the hook. Thanks for any advice. :huh:

Can you temporarily attach the actuator (strut) to the Trim Tab? That would really help, also go slow in reverse until you get it fixed.
