I've been searching for common threads but haven't come across one, so I apologize if this has been discussed already.
We got back from a week long excursion on the boat and everything (including the weather) was fantastic. Went back to the boat this past weekend and our depth sounder on the Smart Craft guages is showing --??
So I checked the transducer connection(looks fine), swam under the boat and cleaned the transducer(nothing to mention there), then I did a master reset(don't do this unless you want to spend hours getting all your settings back...lesson learned). I still can't seem to find the problem?? I have read a few past threads that say the transducer could be gone, but just like that it stops working??
Anything else I should check first? Can you test the transducer at all? Boat is a 2004 320.
Any help is always appreciated?
