Depth finder

The depth finder quit working and the next day it was ok. It did the same late on. I have cleaned the probe surface under the boat but still the same.

I asked my dealer for possible cause; they said that it maybe the module that getting hot and then quit...but all other fonctions are working fine

Any idea of what cause that Gremlin ?

Is your boat on a lift? Mine had a VERY small crack, water would get in and it would fail. Dry it out on the lift/trailer and it would work again. Bought a new one on amazon, 30 minute install and good to go.
