Well the wind pushed my 27AJ into a concrete wall and scratched up my stainless bow rail pretty good. I would like to repair the scratched rail but have no idea how to. I was hoping for some help and find out if anyone has ever done it before and how were the results.!!Thanks:smt001

I don't think you can repair it. Maybe you could find someone to cut out the bad rails and weld in new rail. Start with a shop that does new bimini canvas...they might steer you to someone

A good welder can use a TIG torch and smooth out the scratches. If there are deep gouges it can be filled at the same time. Then you have to grind the material off using decreasing grits until the surface is blended. This assume that the section of the rail is located where it can easily be welded without removing the rail.

The downside is that there is a risk that it will come smooth and shiny but be discolored.
