Our 79 225V is sitting int he water 2 inches deeper than it ever has. No change in load. No water in the cabin or bilge. What are the possiablities?
Had it out of the water two weeks ago with no apparent damage to Hull or Transom

Only one reason why your boat would be sitting lower in the water and that's weight. Do you have a bilge pump for the cabin (step down pump)? Have you checked that? If there is no visual evidence of water you may have had an intrusion problem which caused your foam, transom, stringers to become water soaked.

The only reason a boat would sit lower in the water is added weight, you just have to find out where it came from/is.

Good Luck!

Nothing in Step down. Can the water get trapped in the foam or stringers if there is an intrusion? The boat sits level - no listing.

Thanks

Any luck figuring this one out yet? I am curious as to the cause. Good luck with it and hope it is not too serious.
