i'm brand spankin new to this site and would like to say hello first . posted the question on the general maint. site but got no answer. I quess every body was re-installing their cabinets after caulking.*lol*

some backround; I have a 91 350 EC and today recaulked the 6 forward rail uprights by removing the bolts, nuts, and backer plates (anchor acess and forward bunk area)...cleaned with acetane and used 3M 4000U. the question is how in the devil can I get to the rest without diassembling the entire inside of the boat?

That's why no one replied...there is no way! It's one of those things that many of us need to do but there is no easy way to do it properly so it will never get done.

I owned a '93 370 Express which is basically the same boat that you own but rebadged with a different name. I had the marina where I store re-bed the rails with fresh 3m 4200 after about 7 years of ownership. While I do not know for sure the answer to your question, I'm betting the bolts holding the rails are machine bolts that screw into a backing plate that is glassed into the deck. Why not call SeaRay and ask them how it is done. I found them to be very helpful with my questions and ended up speaking with the person who ran the line that built my boat. He even sent me some shop drawings for a question that I had concerning limber holes.

thanks... I'll try calling...I was hoping there was something I was missing.....well a great winter project...*LOL*

Sbw1 is correct by saying call searay, however I think you may be better E-mailing them. I inquired about access to the windshield wipers and the windshield wiper pump on my 360, and they sent me back a color, detailed, photo layout on power point explaining exactly how to get to them and then remove and reinstall! I can't remember exactly how I got to them on the website, but I think I started at the bottom of the page at site map then 36' and up and contact searay... you should be able to find it.
I rebedded my 330 several years ago..I was able to find access to every stantion base, but some were pretty tough. If I remember right, there were 5/16 nylock nuts under fender washers under the backing blocks. Good luck

thanks for the info...I emailed them at the customer service link tonight so with any luck I'll find out what I already have a fear of..*LOL* thanks again.
