Amen. Thanks to all vets who have served and those who are currently serving.
Coincidentally, tonight was the first (of 2) nights of the Christmas Boat Parade. Every year each boat decorates around a theme. This year we decided not to do a traditional Christmas them. Our theme this year is: "Merry Christmas to all the military personnel serving around the world, and to the veterans who served before them. Because they went in harm's way we are able to enjoy freedoms like being able to do a boat parade at Christmas."
We decorated the boat in red, white and blue lights and flew a 5'x8' flag from a 16' flagpole on the bow. We had the flag lighted with a 300W halogen light and if flew proudly in the wind all night. I'll post some pics Sunday, after tomorrow night's parade.
