Mark Felts, aka 'Deep Throat' of Watergate fame died last week at the age of 95. for those old enough to care, or just those who are curious about the story behind the story:

To me the irony of the Deep Throat situation is that Mark Felt was prosecuted and convicted for a felony similar to Nixon's 'crimes'. From Wikipedia: "In 1980, Felt was convicted of the felony of violating the civil rights of people thought to be associated with members of the Weather Underground by ordering FBI agents to search their homes as part of an attempt to prevent bombings." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W._Mark_Felt
