Death of a Classic Fairliner

This is very sad. Last night at our marina in Kalama WA, this 50s Fairliner sank at the slip. It was later found the hull developed a crack. I again helped with my Sea Ray trailer. Man that thing was heavy!

That's too bad, I have a nostalgic thing for Fairliners....very nice of you to offer your trailer.....I grew up relatively close to the Fairliner factory....I always enjoy seeing them and point them out to my wife, coupled with a little boat history lesson, she really doesn't know what the hell I am rambling on about and could care less, but she is always polite, shaking her head like she's interested, and smiles.....bless her heart......hope it isn't a major set back for the owners.....

That's sad to see. There's a Fairliner on our dock that's about the same size. Very sad to think of it sinking.
