View attachment 56142 hi guys Tony again, 2005 280 ,working on the boat Friday night radio works fine , Saturday dead. Batteries are charged running off shore power, everything else is working fine. Checked the fuses near battery switch, ones next to battery charger and one under the throttle, all seem fine. Am I missing one?. Next tried to pull out radio maybe a fuse I missed, unscrewed 4 screws but can't remove panel seems caught on something, wondering if anyone had any ideas before I wiend up breaking something

If you have a multi meter, start checking to make sure you have voltage along the path. There are different approaches, but one would be to start at the radio and work your way back until you have 12V power, and then you'll have a pretty good idea where the problem is. It's not always a fuse or breaker. It's often a loose or corroded connector, or a bad butt joint. Nobody likes a bad butt :)

Thanks for the advice, but the hard part now is that the radio doesn't seem to want to budge, can't seem to pull it out. Any ideas? Thanks again. Tony
