My 86 340 is showing all of the good times with the dash paint. Anyone have a recommendation on paint type to use to redo it?

I think I answered my own question after searching further..the two below look like the two popular options

Rust-Oleum® Marine Coatings Topside Paint
PETTIT PAINT–EZ-Poxy Modern Polyurethane Topside Paint

Resurrecting this thread for selfish reasons. :)

I started to paint my dash last year using the Pettit paint mentioned above and found it way to glossy for a dash and stopped before going further. Seemed like a mirror that would be blinding on the water.

A new boating season and I can't look at the dash in the shape it is in another summer.

Anyone have other recommendations for dash paint? Anyone use a non-marine specific paint with success?

The Easypoxy is very nice, durable stuff - but yes, it's glossy... which is usually something someone wants. I'd imagine there's a flattening agent you can add it to - but I can't offer personal experience doing that with the EasyPoxy as I've only ever used it as-is. You might want to call Pettit and ask them for a recommendation.
