Don't really "need" anything 'cept maybe a Garmin bracket to put on my Zodiac to move the GPS from the S/R to dinghy..... Still always end up spend $500 or so... might find some new carpet or upholstery and finally get to work on the monkey fur in the V-berth...

I've gone to this thing nearly every year for the past 25 years...even boatless!!! It's like crack for boat guys.:thumbsup:

We are fying into FT Lauderdale for a cruise, just happen to be staying in Dania Beach for one day with a few extra hour, is that the same locatoin? We might be able to take care of the small boat needs along with the big boat needs in one trip. Can somebody drop the address and hours, so that I can plug it into the GPS.

Nick and I went.

As you may know, Nick is in the middle of restoring a 1977 17 foot McKee Craft he bought last summer (a real project boat). He is rebuilding the boat from the hull on up. He's been doing a great job with it and he's within a month of being complete. We are hoping to be able to tow it to Bimini but we're not sure about that yet. Anyway, he had some holes to fill and got some excellent deals....

New Class D Standard Horizon DSC VHF radio - $150.00 ($200 reg)

New Comrod VHF antenna - $50.00 ($200 reg)

50 feet of 3 inch wide nylon strap with eyes on both ends for towing - $20.00



I got the following....

250 feet of windless grade 5/8 inch nylon rope - $100 (best price I found on line was $200 + shipping)

2 stainless latches for cockpit hatches $25 each

1 Sea Tel 1898 sat dish including the dome, dish, motors, belts, etc (it needs LNB, cable and control panel) $25.00!!!! (not $250.00) I could put another $400-$600 and have a complete sat dish system or just keep it for spare parts for mine. They were selling empty Sea Tel domes (dummy domes) for $200.00!!!!!!

35 foot black 5/8 inch double braided dock lines $28.00. BOW has them for $50.00.

New Jensen Remote control stereo/CD unit that will serve my cockpit speakers separate from the other speakers in my AV system. The stereo will have 3 inch wired flush mounted remote mounted below the bridge stereo remote already installed in the boat. The head unit will be tucked away out of sight - $175.00

other misc stuff.
