We were heading up towards Wolf River Marina Saturday when we came across the scene of a boating accident. A small open bow was sitting upside down, paralell to the shore just a few feet from the waters edge.

Apprearantly seven aboard were out after dark and ran ashore. It was a dark night. Alcohol is suspected to have been involved. Looks like they may have veered too far to starboard while traveling up river and cut hard to port when the captain saw the point of land maybe.
All went to the hospital and one youg lady was killed. No update on the others other than that they have been released.
The authorities had rows of red dots or cones along the hull. I suspect that was to help reconstruct the accident?
