D.C. Parking enforcement

So I was in the city the other day waiting to meet with a prospective client on K street. I parked on the service road in a pay to park area. (Note the sign). This parking pig bangs on my window and says I have to move my car out of the loading zone or I will get a ticket. (Again note the sign). I told him to open his eyes and read the sign, if you know how to read you will see I am legally parked. He responded by saying "move your car you stupid white mother fuc*er" I responded by asking his name and who his supervisor is, he walked away.

I got out of my car and persued him to the corner of 15th and K where I again asked his name and badge number. He responded by videoing me with his ticket printer camera which probably cost tax payers $3000. So I took the opportunity to ask on camera why he addressed me in a racist and unprofessional manor and to give me his name so I could file a report. Having just incriminated his self he erased the video ran back to his truck, made an illegal turn and peeled out on to K street.

This is not the first time I have been victimized by DC parking enforcement. They are cronies of the DC scum they call the city government. They write tickets which are completely invalid with no accountability. Many of these DC employees are racist criminals who don't have any honor or values.

I would love to find this guy lost in the woods someday.

Parking enforcement is bad everywhere....

DC is terrible... You are lucky he didn't just write you a ticket. They are impossible to argue in court as the judges there don't even listen to you.

In LA they have subcontracted it out and they are incentivized to ticket you. That's even more fun....

You're lucky he didn't have a gun. He probably would have just shot you and then given you a ticket for bleeding in public.

I keep telling myself that nothing people do any more could surprise or amaze me, then I encounter a prick like that. Makes me just shake my head and wonder where the gubmint agencies find these idiots.

Classic example....today I threw out several pieces of boat carpet. I put them in a wheelbarrow and wheeled them out to the street so the garbage truck guys could pick them up. I left them in the wheelbarrow so they wouldn't have to lift them off the ground, then spray painted on the carpet in 10" tall letters "DO NOT TAKE WHEELBARROW". After I heard the truck dump my cans I went to the street to bring the cans back and sure enough, the wheelbarrow was gone. To say I was pissed would be putting it mildly. I called the company and raised hell with the girl who answered the phone. She said she'd have to email the manager (where the hell is he that she has to email him???) and she'd get back to me.

What a total display of gross incompetence or ignorance or just plain theft to take my wheelbarrow.

Look at the way he is dressed. Also did you notice he is more interested in getting a piece of the purple hair "hottie" than doing a good job? Really, what do you expect?

Not in any way condoning the "official" jerk's behavior, but looking at the sign I see the arrow pointing in the other direction. It appears your car is parked on both sides of the sign. Usually the arrow means from this sign to that other sign down there with another arrow pointing back this way. Is it possible you were parked both in the 2 hour parking zone and partially in a loading zone?
