Does anyone know what the factory cutout size is?

I replaced my bulbs with LEDs when I bought the boat, but I'd kind of like to replace the fixtures completely with the kind that can toggle color to red.

You can buy leds that will toggle between 2 colors. Superbrightleds.com. Much cheaper and quicker than replacing the entire fixture.

Any links to specific replacement bulbs? I bought most of my replacement LEDs from there, but I don't see any color-changing replacement bulbs, although the site has so many it might be easy to overlook them.

I bought a flat disk G4 to replace the rear arch light bulbs. You can get them in red/white or blue/ white. When you turn them on they are white, flip switch off and back on and they change to second color.

I bought these festoon bulbs on Amazon - 4 bulbs for $15. I have a 2006 and the 42mm was correct. They can change to all different colors and dim. Very pleased. The only thing is they arent linked together, so changing to all one color is fine but if you want them to cycle through the light show settings it impossible to time them all together. Still...at $3.75 a bulb I am NOT complaining!

Thanks for the tip, they're cheap enough that it looks like even as a potential throwaway it's worth trying.

I have a spare festoon bulb on my desk which I would swear is an extra from my original LED conversion project and its only 31 mm, but they sell that size, too.

The boat is all wrapped for the winter otherwise I wouldn't even be asking these questions.
