Had my marina refer me to a canvas shop. I have a 21' sea ray and they quoted me $525 with stainless steel poles etc.They said they use sunbrella fabric. I told them about Great Lakes and they would sell me the exact one the Boat came with for same price. They were not pushy at all but so those are a little ugly and theirs would be a little long and higher. Not sure what to do.

$525 for a Sunbrella bimini and stainless frame is very cheap.

Our biminis do come with the frame, and we supply a few different types of biminis that would fit your exact boat. If you for sure want a stainless steel frame, then by all means go with that local canvas shop. $525 is a great price!

If you aren't set on stainless steel, however, we offer the Sunbrella bimini top with double-walled aluminum bows for $345.17 with nylon fittings, and $440.80 with stainless steel fittings. That isn't including your 10% discount that you get for being a member of Club Sea Ray.

There are cheaper options in other fabrics, but I would highly suggest Sunbrella for a bimini top (it holds its color far better and comes in more color options). So put some thought into it. If you want all stainless and the ease of not having to install it yourself, take it to the local canvas shop. There isn't a great way to make sure the fabric is authentic (at least in my experience) other than feel. That being said, I've been in the industry for quite awhile, and have yet to see a small canvas shop try to pawn a fake fabric off as Sunbrella. Sunbrella is sold by Glen Raven, a pretty powerful company, and I can't imagine they would take trademark infringement of their signature product lightly.
