When I called them over the winter, they said I could make a reservation (they did not mention a 2 night minimum or an issue because I am a Nassau resident) or just go there the night I wanted to stay and see if a slip was open. They said for a Friday night in August, non Holiday weekend, I would not likely have a problem getting a slip. If there is going to be a few of use staying there, then if may be out of luck now. I am still not sure what my Friday night plan will be. I may still try Shinnecock or one of the other marinas nearby.
Harold,
We stopped there for a night on the way back from Newport last year. We made reservations over the winter. It was full when we went there. One of my local friends goes there every year and says to book early because it is an inexpensive spot that fills quickly.
That would be awesome if Non-residents can stay too! I called the other day & they said a two day stay was not required per whatever the woman could read in the office but the website would not let us book less than two nights stating it was a requirement.
