CSR Northeast Flotilla 2013

For those of us going to Mystic after Newport, where do we want to stay? We should start booking it also.

Is anyone else responding regarding the t-shirts order?

According to my spreadsheet the following people didn't respond whether they would like to order the Tees and if yes I need choice of color, sizes and number of tees.

Todd, Ben, Larry, Steve, Michael, Bill, Ray, Tom and Billy.

For those that just signed up recently, these are the t-shirts we have designed for the flotilla. It's a bit hard to see in the pic, but the map represents the waterways, including all the ports we'll be visiting on the trip. The cut off point for final order is July 15th. The cost of each t-shirt will be somewhere around $12. Don't be shy.

I'm pretty sure Todd wants a few of these shirts for his whole gang, but I'll let him chime in on that. :)

Yeah, i think he said he'll have his kids soccer team ware them too.

Ok, as we get closer to the trip, was thinking about having a few "games" especially for the kids. I was thinking of setting up a treasure hunt on Taylor's island , I can order "prizes" also, an adult contest , possibly best drink, or appetizer? also with prizes. and lastly how about a theme Night Ie: pirate night or decorate the boats ???? just some ideas looking for feedback. so I can order the stuff.

Perfect timing, Joe.

I think we should get the discussion going and settle on few games. I like your adult "contest" and theme ideas.

Joe, in addition to your ideas, here are few things I had in mind:

Shelter Island Fun Activities:
-----------------------------------
Water skiing, kneeboarding and tubing
Dinghy Race - break in to groups of similar size and HP (one person per boat)
Dinghy Relay Race - Make the teams, Line up the boats to have similar HP/boat size for each team (2-3 regular, one fast)

Block Island Fun Activities:
-----------------------------------
Water skiing, kneeboarding and tubing
Horse backriding
Bumper boats
Dinghy Pocker Run

Hi Alex

My wife wants to do a chicken caeser salad. We will also bring watermelon for dessert.

Thanks

Neil

Well then, Alex and I have dinghies that should do pretty well for knee boarding and pulling kids on a tube. I've never been on a wakeboard, what kind of speed / boat is required for that?

Maybe the 480DB would be good to wakeboard behind, it throws a pretty good wake.

Our dinghies will easily do that. I wonder if it can get up to speed quick enough or throw enough of a wake to be fun? I guess we'll try it.

Can you guys give me your ETA for Shelter Island, whether you're arriving Fri afternoon/eve or Sat.

Neil,
Your info is updated on the first page and my spreadsheet. Thank you.

That would be some site. You catch a nice surf from 480DB wake.
