This is a great forum and kudos to our admins and moderators! We own a small boat that we keep at a vacation spot for day cruising. It is of a reputable brand but not a SR. I recently signed up on their forum trying to network with other boaters in that area. I never got an email notification that I had been approved. Obviously I did as I can now sign on, but I cannot set up my profile or make any posts! Worse yet, I have not gotten a response from the admin thati emaile about these problems 4 days ago! Like I said...csr is great and we are fortunate to have it! Thanks again guys.

Welcome aboard ,we are a boating forum so it really dosent matter what type of boat you have.I think most here are safety minded, and are looking for new boating adventures as well as information on how best to treat our boats to keep them performing well and looking thier best.Glen

Yup!! Welcome aboard. This is a great site. Lots of info, interesting people and some very interesting points of view.

We also fix boats here.............sometimes, if you ask reasonably intelligent questions, you give us details, you don't misspell too many words, you don't use capital letters, and if we guess correctly.

We can only hope for all of those things.

Oh we like pictures too ,lots of pictures....

I will bet the other forum was B-Ed. Les is known for not responding in a timely manner with new sign-ups. But he is quick to give a non-conformer (aka. kearney) the boot. Welcome to CSR in the meantime.

I think Kaykook is kearney..

And why are we welcoming someone who has been on CSR for 3 years!?! I guess we're all just a nice bunch of people. :smt001

Oh, and who's Kes?

I think Kaykook is kearney..

Naw, my posts aren't that technical and argumentative, are they ? But I have some experience with Mr. K.
Every time I try to have a friendly technical discussion with Bill Kearney, it seems to end on a sour note. The last one ended after four e-mails with him writing, "Let it go Rob, you don't have the answers I need and I'm far too well informed to bother hampering my needs with using a Macintosh."

Kes & Jay are "Sweet Dreams" That was the name of their last boat a 215 Weekender if memory serves me right??

That's correct Chuck, thanks. Gunn gets the award for recognizing our 08 join date! I do enjoy being a member even if I hibernate in the winter. CSR posts are usually by me unless Jay highjacks the sign on!

I really miss the back and forth of last winter. First time I was involved with CSR and the winter opinions. Great debates to make you think and a few side notes from Gary, Wayne, Woody, MM and the rest. Sorry if I didn't mention you but you know who you are. I hope a few will get over themselves and come back. Seems like winter is like a bad economy. It thins out the herd and the strong survive.

We do watch out for each other and as Rob can attest to, we demand honesty and verification of a thread or post. All of which Rob has provided. (Good job buddy, I knew you would). Still going at 68 pages and half way home.

This is only a great site because we have great folks that share, care and contribute in many ways.
