Derek, I live on Seabreeze dr. off of Niles Hill Rd. near Waterford beach.
billnpat, We really didn't see any debris in the water. Don't know if it would have been different late fall/early spring, but it was just a great cruise. It was almost boring.
Don, We were there Sunday June 5th and it was dead. Except for the ferries and two sailboats that we passed near the Verrazono it was DEAD. From New York Harbor all the way home we passed as many working boats as pleasure boats. It was just weird not to see anyone else out there. Having said that, there was a SE wind and it was really quite cold on Long Island sound.
